Bound Girl of Cobble Hill by Lois Lenski

Lenski’s written better – the dialect is so thick it’s unintelligible.  Her characters pop in and out with no purpose and the ending is weak – a wishy washy wizard of oz ending.  Unless you really like 1700′s stories of Connecticut, I’d skip this one.

Story of a young girl who believes popular Celtics player is her father.  Main character is a very spirited young lady! Great for Jr/Senior High kids as well.
